Deacon

I was baptized into Trinity’s family in August of 1957. I attended grade school here at Trinity and was confirmed in 1971. I graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1975, attended Southwestern Michigan College with studies in Architectural Design. In October of 2017 I graduated from the LCMS Michigan District’s Deacon Program. I have been married to Janice for 18 years this May. Between us we have three sons-Seth, Charlie, and Caleb, one daughter Laura Nuccio, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I am the 4^th generation here at Trinity and for me, this is home! I am humbled and honored to be serving my Lord and my church as Deacon.

Director of Youth and Family Life

Clinton Bienz started serving with Trinity in Fall of 2022. As he grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, he grew a love for outdoor camp ministry, and he served on Summer Staffs for 4 Summers. Camp led him to believe teaching would be his career, but after two years of teaching he was given an opportunity to serve as Next Generation Leader at his home church in Fort Wayne. It was because of church leaders that invested in him and his team of volunteers with enormous patience that they were able to cultivate some healthy faith communities. Clinton and his family [Gwen(wife), Elijah(son), and RosaJoy (daughter)] are excited to serve and partner with the people of Trinity and Saint Joseph, to make the world a more loving and less lonely place in the name of Jesus.

Administrative Assistant

Betty Perrone has served at Trinity since 1997. She served as an Office Assistant in the school office from 1997 – 2007. In 2007 she transferred to the church office, where she serves as the Church Administrative Assistant.            Prior to coming to Trinity, Betty went to Lake Michigan College for Restaurant Hospitality & was the Asst. Manager at Grande Mere Inn for 10 years, leaving there when she became the mother of her second child. Betty was married to Gary Perrone for 40 years, becoming widowed in May 2018.  She has 2 daughters (both who graduated from Trinity’s school), 4 grandsons & 2 granddaughters. Betty feels blessed to be involved in the numerous ministries of Trinity Lutheran Church & School and assisting the Boards & Committees that make our church what it is today. Betty became a trained Stephen Leader in January 2019, and serves as the Referrals Coordinator and Awareness Coordinator. 

Financial Coordinator

Jenna Wood received her Associates in Administrative Assistant from Minnesota State College Southeast, her Bachelors in Information Technology and Masters in Business Administration from Minnesota School of Business. Originally from Wisconsin, Jenna met her husband in Michigan and has resided in Coloma, Mi since 2008. Jenna and her husband, Grant, have three children who all attend Trinity. Together, they love traveling to Wisconsin and spending time with family.
